Brittany is an Asian bodywork therapist and yoga instructor born and raised in Vermont. She has a deep passion for healing and has studied extensively how massage therapy and yoga can play an important supporting role in the healing process for PTSD, and other mental health conditions. Brittany spends most of her free time exploring the outdoors with her two children and dogs.
She is trained in a number of bodywork modalities such as, Amma therapy, Shiatsu massage, acupressure, Gua Sha, pediatric massage, moxibustion, and cupping therapy and combines any number of these techniques in a treatment based on your needs.
Nancey first studied massage at Port Townsend School of Massage. She is skilled in a wide range of modalities including Swedish relaxation, tension relief, fascial release, deep tissue, clinical treatment, passive-active assisted stretching, static-dynamic Chinese non-fire cupping, gua sha and therapeutic touch. Nancey is also a yoga instructor with a special interest in Yin yoga, a gentle but powerful practice that focuses on stretching the connective tissue + fascial layers of the spine, pelvis and hips.
Nancey is intuitive, knowledgeable and nurturing. She sees each relationship as a partnership and works to ensure her clients’ specific needs are met to the best of her ability. Her commitment to continued studies in anatomy, yoga and massage make for a unique experience. She’s a great listener, excellent communicator and enters each session with an open and curious mind. Because of this approach, sessions with Nancey take on a life of their own and are rarely the same.
